Hi, I am Sian.
I was born and grew up in a small town in the Midlands of Kwa-Zulu Natal, and then headed down to the Cape, where I graduated with a Business Science degree from the University of Cape Town.
Ever since I was introduced to my first camera – a childhood birthday gift – we instantly became inseparable, and my passion for photography began. I started my photography business in 2012, and I now specialize in documenting weddings and lifestyle photography.
I believe that a good photographer needs skill and creativity, but above all an intuition for catching those unposed moments that convey the emotion of the day. I hope that the photographs in my portfolio reflect this.
This year my camera and I are traveling around Europe together, and are overwhelmed with excitement about all the new places and faces we’re yet to meet.
